Sanctuary at Shegra Beach

Towards the end of my trip to Scotland in 2020, I heard about a secluded beach that was open for vans and tents to stay overnight. The allure was too much to resist so I travelled down ever smaller roads until reaching the spot beyond a field of sheep. I wasn’t disappointed by the view and I found a great place to stay overlooking the water. There was no signal so it felt lovely and remote, perfect for recharging before the long trip home.
